Pre School

For many children, pre-school is their first experience in a structured setting with teachers and groups of other children. It is an opportunity to learn, share, follow instructions and begin the foundation for learning that will occur in elementary school. Parents may worry that focus on academics in pre-school cuts into important playtime and pushes a child to grow up too fast.

According to Psychologists, the first 2000 days in a child’s life are the most influential and formative times in the development of a child.

So how does the Early Years Program benefits children’s learning and development? And what features parents should look for in this programme? One answer to these questions is that the team at RIS understands the particular ways that young children develop and learn. They organise space, time and activities to be in sync with children’s social, emotional, cognitive and physical abilities. Also the methodology followed, emphasises that early childhood education lays the foundation for life long learning and whole person development. Early Years Program is formulated according to the basic principles of "Children development" and "Children learning" based on their interests, needs and abilities, facilitating in developing their Multiple Intelligences. These objectives are achieved through six learning areas

Special Emphasis is placed on developing children's basic skills and concepts and helping the development of positive values and attitudes. Indeed, learning includes three key elements namely "Knowledge", "Skill" and "Attitudes", so as to nurture a balanced development of children in ethical, intellectual, physical, social and aesthetic aspects. By these means children will be well prepared for life and life-long learning.
